10 Cancer Causing Foods You Should Avoid

He saved his time by eating a cup of instant noodles in a hurry due to busyness in the office or at home or because he was hungry or he quenched his hunger very quickly. But you don’t realize how much damage you are doing without knowing it.

A recent study found that people who are accustomed to eating extra processed foods, especially chicken nuggets and instant noodles, have a higher risk of developing cancer.

In a recent report from a team of French researchers in France and Brazil, they said that extra-processed foods increase the risk of cancer. These types of foods are bad for nutrition in the body. The study was conducted on a total of 1 lakh 5 thousand people.

In a report published in The BMJ, an online publication in the British Medical Journal, researchers say those over-processed foods are more likely to be linked to cancer risk.

They added that although only 10 percent of extra processed foods are added to the diet, the risk of all other cancers and breast cancers is increased by more than 10 percent because of these foods.

Excessively processed foods mean that all foods are more and more processed.

Listed below are ten foods to avoid that are proved to increase the risk of getting cancer.

  1. Packeted bread or baked goods such as cakes
  2. Soda and sweet drinks
  3. Instant noodles and soup
  4. Sweet or spicy packet national snacks
  5. Manufactured confectionery and desserts
  6. Meatballs, chicken and fish nuggets
  7. Other meat products are preserved by additional preservatives without salt.
  8. Frozen or self-stabilizing food
  9. Food products that are made entirely or partially from sugar, oils and fats.
  10. Chocolate bar

Pasta, cheese, and canned vegetables, all of which are less processed, do not increase the risk of cancer.

Bernhard Schroeder and his colleagues at the French National Laboratory have extracted all this information.

Dieting is already thought to be one of the leading causes of cancer. According to the World Health Organization, processed beef has also become a cause of cancer. But while global health has yet to say anything about over-processed foods, research has shown that over-processed foods are linked to cancer.

Dieting is already thought to be one of the leading causes of cancer. According to the World Health Organization, processed beef has also become a cause of cancer. But while global health has yet to say anything about over-processed foods, research has shown that over-processed foods are linked to cancer.

The research team conducted a two-day food survey on what people in the Paris City of the University of Sorbonne are eating.

Most of the people who were studied were middle-aged women, who were monitored by the research team for an average of 5 years.

As seen during the research-

  • On average, 16% of people are on a diet of extra processed foods.
  • On average, 69 out of every 10,000 people are diagnosed with cancer.
  • The number of people getting cancer due to processed foods is on the rise, with 9% of the 10,000 people who eat processed foods getting cancer every year.

The researchers said: “The results of this study suggest that the rapidly increasing consumption behind all these diets now will bear the brunt of the rising cost of cancer in the next few decades.

This means that the money that is currently being spent on foods like chicken nuggets, french fries, instant noodles, chips, chocolate bars, etc., is likely to be used to treat cancer in the future. Will.

But researchers say large-scale research is needed to determine the cause.

Is this a warning message?

This study does not specifically say that over-processed foods cause cancer. Among those who eat a lot of processed foods, the changes that cancer patients experience are slow.

Studies have shown that people who smoked a lot, worked less, burned fewer calories overall, and those who took birth control pills had similar behaviors. Professor Linda Bauld said, a cancer researcher in the UK, said it was already known that people who ate all these foods gained weight and could also be at increased risk of cancer due to being overweight or obese. However, the relationship between cancer and overweight and diet is still difficult to unravel.

He said that it is a warning for us that our diet should be healthy, but there are people here who are eating less processed foods that they are not worried about. But we should eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and fiber instead of these foods.

We know that vegetables and fruits are low in calories so this type of diet is safe and beneficial for health.

Dr. Norwich’s Quadram Institute. Ian Johnson said some weak points have been identified in this study.

He criticized the ambiguity of extra-processed foods in the study, saying they had broadly and weakly defined what was ultra-processed or over-processed foods. As a result, it is impossible to confirm which foods are associated with cancer. Because they only used the term ultra-processed.

According to Tom Sanders, a professor at King’s College London, the definition of highly processed food has been overlooked.

He said that although packaged heavy bread is a highly processed food, home-made or local bakery bread will not be of the same class.

Regarding the classification of this study, Sanders added that all foods produced in industrial establishments have a tendency to combine different nutrients and chemicals, but not in home-made foods. So, in that case, the food prepared in this house and that food will not be one and there will be a difference between any problem.

Martin Lazas and Adriana Manje of the National Institutes of Public Health in Mexico warned: “We are far from understanding the significance of food processing for our health and, above all, well-being. This study has opened up our initial insights.”

He emphasizes fruits and vegetables in the diet of all.
